Strengthening Community-Based Doula Care in New Mexico

The New Mexico Doula Association (NMDA) is seeking an Executive Director to help guide the organization’s next chapter of community-rooted doula advocacy and reproductive justice work in New Mexico.

This role offers an opportunity to steward NMDA’s mission to expand access to culturally humble, community-based doula support while strengthening partnerships and infrastructure that support equitable reproductive and perinatal care across the state.

Executive Director Opportunity

The Executive Director provides strategic and operational leadership in partnership with the NMDA Board of Directors and a statewide network of partners, contractors, and community collaborators.

Position Overview

  • Contract position — 80 hours per month
  • $100 per hour
  • Approximately 75% remote / 25% in-person

Statewide travel expected, particularly to Las Cruces, Albuquerque, and Santa Fe.
